Phillip's Razor: Or how Metcalfe Is A Chump
Metcalfe's Law states that, "the value of a telecommunications network is proportional to the square of the number of users of the system (n2)." In other words as connectivity increases...the value of that network rises exponentially. Enter blog reader Scott Phillips.
Scott is a Drake alum ('03), web developer, and current MBA student at Drake... and he pointed out in a comment on my post Societal Devolution via Ear Buds that I may be suffering from "old man" syndrome regarding today's youth and their deficiencies. After some emails back and forth, Scott had this to say.

Simple yet profound Scott. Have we discovered that in the 21st century and the Web 2.0 era that the inverse of Metcalfe's Law may be true in an increasing number of networks? (Twitter..please die)
